I had so much fun with this project for my big sister! Knowing Kelly and Clayton personally allowed me to design something unique and just for them. They liked the idea of bringing everyone up to speed with a cute little story explaining that the high school sweethearts were reunited after college. We tried to achieve a theme of Texan-inspired shabby chic, with a nod to Clayton's love for vintage music posters. 

 
Apparently, this part earned her the nickname "Pickle Thief" at work!

Just-My-Style Bridemaids Dress

Today at the Dollhouse, I picked up the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of Brides Philadelphia to find a bridesmaid's dress that I am just drooling over. Lucky for me, the designer sells her pieces on Etsy, at her store SarahSeven. After looking at hundreds of boring alternatives, I'm finally excited to wear such a dainty and beautiful dress for my only sister's wedding! She and I have very different styles, but lucky for me I get to pick out what I want to wear - THIS DRESS!!!!!

I'm also seriously in love with this adorable boutonniere...maybe MyraKim on Etsy could outfit my sister's wedding party? (I would love a corsage or bouquet like this to match my bridesmaid's dress!)

Gorgeous Woodland Bridal Headpieces

My newly-engaged sister didn't have to try hard to persuade me to start gathering "aesthetic inspirations" for her upcoming wedding. She helps save lives all day as an emergency room physician assistant, so as her right-brained sis (and proud Maid of Honor), I'm happy to send her almost daily emails full of links to show her. Since she's interested in a pretty floral headband, I sent her a link to Whichgoose, an Etsy shop which sells exactly that.
