Every now and again you meet people you just 'connect' with, and this story just happens to be one of those times. I met Emily Daniels about nine years ago in my living room when we worked on her then, super fab 4th of July wedding suite, and we thought we were so ahead of the times with die-cut pieces, and in fact, I think we were! I had a blast with Emily then, and it was such a pleasant surprise so many years later to get a phone call from her asking if we would work on a logo and branding for her new business venture.
The vision and passion that has gone into creating this amazing company with Emily and her great friend, and amazing artist, Sarah Sandback was very inspiring to me, and falls so near and dear to my own heart of balancing life, business, motherhood, and all things that women do daily out of habit. And ps, before I forget, her husband makes tables and furniture that I swoon over daily, please check them out immediately here.
They say it best themselves, so here is a snipit of what KidZenith is all about..."Kid Zenith Publishing is a boutique publishing company for illustrated children’s books. For our products, we draw upon the resources of a widely diverse creative team. We take advantage of the latest advancements in technology in order to deliver content to children in every imaginable form. Our idea of a "book" is not limited to print media. In our goal to share our work with the greatest number of interested readers, parents, and educators, we pursue innovative means of publishing such as the Web, e-books, and apps. Our stories are woven with threads of wisdom, compassion, and social significance. We grace our pages with imaginative artwork designed to transport children into our stories. Our creative products strive to open the hearts of children, enliven their imagination, and beckon them to join us in shifting our world."
We are so honored to be a part of their development and brainstorming, and we came up with this great identity system, which we are engraving and doing some super fun printing with! Sneak peak below.... granted, it all looks so much more fun in real life, with textures and papers and printing oh my... but for now, a little dose of happy color and great design, and an even more fabulous website to come... until then, here are some screen shots! Enjoy.
