Being a web developer at a company that has an obsession with paper, I am started to get the bug. All the colors, textures, weights, and not to mention a million different ways to say white, it is hard to not appreciate the beauty of printing. So I found a few sites that are inspired by paper.

These are some excellent web designs, they look great. I particularly like the carbonica one, it looks quite simple yet elegant. It's interesting to think that these web designs were sort of inspired by what it's replaced in terms of paper. I feel that website design is still finding its footing and in a decade or so, we will really see some truly amazing websites.
