I was on a hunt yesterday for cool type. I wasn't looking for your typical font. I was searching for type that makes you say "wow" and I stumbled upon a couple of great illustrators!
This animal alphabet is great! The colors are perfect for the old-fashioned feel of the illustrations. I'm especially in love with the "t"! I found this poster on Jeanie & Jewell's blog.
The ornate details of each letter is what attracted me to this alphabet by illustrator, Jessica Hische.
During my time at Drexel, I was lucky enough to study under John Langdon, whose work and ambigrams became main-stream because of The DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons. I knew how special John's work was and was thrilled when it became so popular. You can check out more of his amazing work here!
