The fall is upon us, and while I am sure you are curious as to what I have been baking and how much Leon has grown (45 lbs. and still climbing), that will have to be another day. Today I would like to talk about another Nicole: Nicole Blicher Paloux and her amazing wedding to Charles.
I met Nicole last summer at our former studio on Louella Court. We began to talk about her Save the Dates and incorporating her engagement shots by Laura Novak into the perfect postcard.
I came to learn all about how she met Charles, how much she loves their dog Wilma, her affinity for all things vintage, and how they would inspire us to design her wedding stationery.
From the photos below, you can see how Nicole's vision came to life. Kathy Patty and her team at Table Art transformed Greystone Hall into a European Garden, complete with moss and lavender.
Charles is French, so the couple needed a program in both English and French and we were up for the task. We used a simple bird image (a stamp Nicole purchased from Etsy) and some suede string to complete the simple look.
To complete their Garden theme, Nicole selected various herbs as table names and added a little sprig on each table.
Jon Weinrott and his amazing team at Peachtree and Ward put together a delicious menu from Amuse Bouche to Fromage selections.
Nicole and Charles' dessert table would not have been complete without a croquembouche. This is a traditional French pastry served at weddings & baptisms that is made of profiteroles and held together by caramel — YUMM!I am excited to say that while the wedding planning is over, our relationship with Nicole has just begun. Nicole and her company Red Balloon have taken us on as a PR client and we, in turn, are working on her logo and website design. I would also keep my eye out for Wilma and Leon's first play date!
