Little Nest Portraits is hosting its Grand Opening Party this Friday, June 18th from 2-8pm in their new Glen Eagle location. In case you haven't heard the buzz about Laura Novak's newest brand, Little Nest is a family friendly studio that offers beautiful photos at an amazing value. I was thrilled when Laura told me that she was opening in Glen Eagle because my sister was moving right down the road! For a housewarming/baby gift, my sister was treated to a great photo shoot with her new baby boy as well as my 3 year old niece.
The whole family had a great time and couldn't say enough about the team, the studio and the signature products Little Nest has to offer. Here are a few photos of the beautiful new studio featuring some of their creative ways to incorporate family photos.
You can also enter to win their AMAZING grand prize - a FREE family session and

Fabien Barral, a French designer, started an online shop along side his wife a few years ago. They sell posters, and wall graphics (stickers). If you have a love for typography, you will definitely enjoy some of this work. I think I am going to convince my wife we need to purchase something for our kitchen!
-BTW- Some of the designs have different color options.
The world cup starts today! Soccer is one of my favorite sports to watch...probably because I played for 13 years. I decided to gather some logos from the past years. I think Argentina '78 is my favorite.
This year marks the 10th Birthday of Two Paperdolls. It's hard to believe that this all started at a kitchen table, and since has blossomed into an amazing company with such a fabulous & talented team.
We are extremely thankful to have made it this far, and would like to thank every one who has worked with us, and for us, along the way. You are the reason why we are here.
Now most ten year olds ask for something like a Red Rider BB Gun on their birthday. Since we already have that covered, thanks to our mommy-to-be Amanda (read story here), we decided to get ourselves a face-lift instead.
Sure, a ten year old getting a face-lift may be controversial, but we are on the Main Line after all. (Don't worry, we won't pull a Heidi Montag on you.)
Since we are all a bunch of teases you only get toPEEK for now, but we can't wait to show you our new look and tell you about some fun changes that are happening around the dollhouse.
Keep your eyes peeled for the new Two Paperdolls, and here's to making the next 10 years even more amazing.
You may remember my post recently about the best wedding website content I have ever read! Over the last few months I have been helping Beth and Dany work on their wedding stationery. While I don't yet have photos of the big day, I can share with you their beautiful wedding invitations.
Each Invitation was engraved with white ink on heavy onyx cardstock. The design element was blind embossed down the sided of each and then repeated in a blue envelope liner. The black envelopes were custom die cut and hand addressed with white ink. A belly band was flat printed with the bride and groom's name and kept all of the insert pieces contained like a package.
They decided to have both their service and reception at The Franklin Institute. If you have ever explored this Philadelphia museum, you would know all about the heart (where they had their ceremony), the Space Command Center (where they had cocktails and dinner) and the Fels Planetarium (where they treated their guests to a laser light show!). From a string quartet playing an instrumental medley of Smashing Pumpkins to having a "Man of Honor" and "Best Woman", they continued with the theme of a "twist on the traditional".
I wish I had photos to show you of their wedding, but it seems I may have to wait a bit longer. Until then, I feel the need to share with you the Man of Honor's speech from the wedding.
There is a trend going on in the craft world that I'm just loving. Feltidermy (a critter-friendly take on taxidermy) is such a fun way to pay homage to animals without harming them! A cross between fiber art, beloved stuffed animals, sculpture, and kitsch, one of these darlings would add a playful focal point to a wall.
Here's a little sneak peak at a great wedding we are working on in late July at The Mallard Estate on Long Beach Island. A little combination of engraving, laser cutting and letterpress. Love.
I love my job, and I love working with clients who allow us to take their inspiration and turn it into something fabulous. One of our latest invites to hit the mail, I can't wait to show you this entire wedding in about 3 months! Stay tuned!
