Five of us are headed to Austin, Texas, next month for the HOW Design Conference. None of us has ever visited this great city, and we're looking forward to having some downtime to explore.

We plan to "Keep Austin Weird" while we're there (that's their motto!). Any recommendations for must-see and must-do activities?

I just love this idea. Instead of stuffing an envelope full of direction, accommodation and transportation cards, all it takes is a simple turn of the wheel and you have all of the information you need. This wedding invitation is described as a DIY, but I am afraid that they may be giving some people the wrong idea. This is not so simple, someone certainly knows what they are doing! Its made to look like a planting wheel with redwood rings on it. Die cut, 3 color letterpress on recycled, untreated chip board. When can I print one?

I have been seeing the work of Blanca Gomez quite frequently across the web, and for quite good reason. Her work is so unique and sweet — I adore her charming illustrations, her use of color, and the airy negative space in her designs.

Oftentimes our clients want to go all out for their invitation suite, but they don't want to spend the extra money to have their return address printed on their envelopes. I am loving these spectacular little rubber stamp designs from Paperwink for giving your return address some character without spending a fortune.

all's quiet on the blog front...

We've been a little busy for blogging lately... Here's why: meet our newest brand Pressed 55- a full service commercial letterpress and design shop. 

On May 16th we celebrated the opening of our new gallery PRE55ED (pronounced pressed 55) in the Piazza at Schmidts. Located in Northern Liberties, the newly built Piazza showcases an 80,000 square foot open plaza, 4 restaurants, 35 artist studios and boutiques, 500 apartments, and 50,000 square feet of office space. Check it (and us) out for shopping, concerts (etc.), and to watch the Phillies or an occasional movie on their 26 by 16 foot LED screen! Did I mention that its all free?

In the gallery you will find wonderful work available for purchase by Louella Press and PRE55ED, as well as a few other brands we love. But you can always book an appointment and have something printed of your own!
